Dr. Ralph Werner appointed Head of Ad Sales Development at Ringier Axel Springer Media AG

Since January 1, 2016, Dr. Ralph Werner (50) drives the further development of the Media Impact sales organizations operated by Ringier Axel Springer Media AG in its four markets.

In his role as Head of Ad Sales Development, Ralph Werner serves as the strategic partner of Media Impact Polska and Media Impact Srbija and will support the launch of Media Impact in Hungary and Slovakia. He reports to Mark Dekan, CEO Ringier Axel Springer Media AG.

Ralph Werner joined Ringier Axel Springer Media AG with broad experience in digital advertising, gained from various senior positions in companies like Adconion Media Group, AdShopping, Matomy Media Group, Deutsche Telekom InteractiveMedia, and Adomik. Ralph Werner started his digital career in 2000 at eBay Germany, where he held several management positions, later becoming CEO of Germany's leading car classifieds website mobile.de from 2004 until 2006. In 2015, he ran otomoto.pl, the leading Polish automotive classifieds portal and part of the Naspers Group as interim General Manager.

Media Impact Polska was launched in 2014, followed by Media Impact Srbija in October 2015. Media Impact in PoIand and Serbia today are the largest advertising sales organizations in their respective markets, offering customized and innovative advertising solutions, such as native and web video advertising. Their portfolio is made up of strong print and online brands reaching a multi-million audience. Both companies have access to Dreamlab, Ringier Axel Springer Media's Cracow-based technology hub, which provides technology-based solutions for digital publishing and advertising.
